Where We Build Matters
Andréanne was a lead author on a recently published PICS (Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions) report, titled Where We Build Matters.
The report examines key challenges with the land use planning system in British Columbia and how this impacts climate adaptation planning.
Three key actions are provided to address these challenges:
Increase data-driven decision-making
Coordinate and direct climate-informed land use planning
Align risk reduction with financial incentives
Alli, Piper, Simonne, and Mieke provided technical support on this report.
